Responsibilities
- Completes inventory counts/controls.
- Creates daily and seasonal Crafted Cocktail Specials.
- Trains staff on proper service as well as daily specials.
- Keeps wine program and menu up to date.
- Manages beer selection on tap.
- Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
- Merchandises the retail store.
- Assists with social media and website posts and content.
- Sets up and supervises our private dinner parties.
- Assists servers with customer concerns or questions.
- Manages holiday events and store décor.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, including the ability to create classic and innovative cocktails.
- Some culinary training is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to the service of alcoholic beverages.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Food handler’s card preferred.
- Frequently works in hot environment
- Must wear approved uniform, clean non-slip shoes & socks, hairnet or hat
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist & stand for long periods of time;
- Frequently works with sharp knives, utensils, & hot plates.
