POSITION: Partner Account Executive

REPORTS TO: Head of Operational Delivery & Support

WORK SCHEDULE: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with a willingness to monitor email and other systems during nonbusiness hours in case of a critical matter. Additional hours may be occasionally required in order to meet time- sensitive deliverables and deadlines.

JOB SUMMARY: The Partner Account Executive will be responsible for leading strategic partner initiatives and execution against new revenue streams, growth, and development across Central Payments partner portfolio. In this role, you will demonstrate your payments knowledge and experience including strategic relationship management, understanding of regulatory landscape in banking and fintech, leading complex initiatives, and managerial skills. Additionally, you will demonstrate exceptional collaboration, communication, strategic, analytical, program development/execution as well as a proven track record of business growth.

TRAVEL: Travel is expected up to 4 trips per year, ranging from 1-2 nights per trip.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead day-to-day strategic discussions with assigned partners to develop a strong partnership.
  • Work with leadership and cross-functional colleagues to formulate and execute against go-to-market strategies across each of the identified strategic initiatives with our partners.
  • Develop strategic plans and business reviews for assigned partners to drive portfolio growth.
  • Track and execute against monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets (KPIs) and other performance metrics as per the annual forecast and budget.
  • Provide executive partner and program oversight and ongoing partner communication.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including, Compliance, Sales, Operations, Program Management, Legal, etc. to make accurate, informed decisions.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in account and/or partnership management.
  • Being a self-starter who is solution-focused, results-driven, organized, can simultaneously drive multiple projects, and appreciates the details.
  • Firm grasp of financial drivers for successful debit and prepaid programs with ability to recognize key revenue and expense items impacting profitability.
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving with the ability to translate business strategies into actionable delivery plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Motivated, quick learner with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

  • 6 years relative experience in account management.
  • Post-sales account management or existing account growth experience, successfully owning a portfolio of customer or partner relationships with technical/product needs.
  • Experience in Fintech and/or Payments industry preferred.
  • Experience with full ownership of account lifecycle and exceeding revenue targets or goal.
  • Have general experience with or knowledge of software applications i.e., Zendesk, Smartsheet, Microsoft Apps, etc.
