We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Holy Cross Health!
As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritional care to patients and helping them achieve their health goals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.
Shift: Full-Time 7:30am-4:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their nutritional needs and develop personalized diet plans.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their diet plans.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' nutritional status.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient consultations and progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field or verification statement from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics confirming completion of Didactic Program in Dietetic (DPD) requirements.
- Registered Dietitian (RD), Registered Dietitian Nutrition (RDN) certifications or Registered Dietitian Eligible (RDE) required.
- Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Maryland required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
