TMC Transportation is Hiring a Driver Near Silver, KY
PRIMARY FUNCTION : Pick up & drop off equipment & parts at local vendors, transport drivers to and from location needed.
Must be able to pass a background check as well as a drug screen and physical.
2nd : Monday-Friday, 230pm-11pm
3rd : Sunday-Thursday, 1030pm-7am
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Stack and unstack trailers via forklift.
- Deliver and pickup of trucks and trailers from local vendors.
- Pick up and / or deliver parts for the maintenance shop.
- Act as a transporter for drivers and other TMC employees that might need transportation to or from hotel, airport, health facility, etc.
- Miscellaneous jobs assigned by the shop manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE :
- High school diploma preferred
- Strong work history and ethic
- comfortable working outdoors in all weather and environments
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The physical requirements and work environment described are representative of those present while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Ability to lift 80lbs
- Ability to climb on and off of truck trailers and loads
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
