This position is the institutional contact person on all matters related to teacher certification and licensure. This position deals with students, faculty, administration, teachers, public school boards, the State Board of Education, and the public at large on all questions related to the certification and licensure. This position demands a thorough knowledge of the myriad of regulations which are included in licensing teachers in West Virginia via an institution of higher education.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Related Field
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of teacher education and state teacher certification and licensure procedures, ability to use technology to support office procedures, strong interpersonal and communication skills
Appointment to this position will be contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
