Job Summary:
Support PI/PDs, project teams, stakeholders and the campus-wide grants services team to perform timely, effective and successful grant-related activities throughout the Post Award period.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years in post award research administration or sponsored programs
Able to appropriately refer to and interpret Uniform Guidance (2 C.F.R. Part 200), PAPPG and other federal guidance regarding grants
Solid understanding of cost share principles, indirect requests and effort reporting
Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail and information management habits
Able to navigate federal grants platforms
Fluent with Microsoft 365
Basic budgeting and accounting skills
Top notch customer service skills and attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree and/or applicable industry recognized certification (CRA, CRFR, etc.)
Technical writing skills and/or experience drafting policy manuals
Familiarity with grants management software
Experience supporting grants without access to grants management software
Excellent with EXCEL, confident with TEAMS
Experience supporting grants from DHHS, USDA, DOE, DOJ, HUD, HRSA, NSF, NIH or WV State
Familiar with ASAP, DRGR, HEROS, SAM, JustGrants, FastLane, Research & Grants.Gov
Able to work within Banner Finance and/or Banner Grants Module
Direct experience with other phases of grants cycle (prospecting and/or pre-award)
Appointment to this position will be contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
