Job Description:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for warehouse functions. This individual will monitor the daily activities of material handlers and forklift drivers while ensuring the loading / unloading of all trucks, and containers are completed in an efficient and safe manner.

Job Purpose:

• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
• Ensure shipments and inventory transactions’ accuracy
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload along with the general manager
• Interface with program managers to answer or solve problems
• Maintain material record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices with the general manager
• Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

Skills: Work experience as a warehouse supervisor or team leader. Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques. Knowledge of warehouse ERP software. Ability to input and retrieve data in the computer. Hands on commitment to getting the job done. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to direct and coordinate operations. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Required Qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the US. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED). 1 – 2 years of forklift driving experience. 1 – 2 years of experience working on a fulfillment / distribution center. Great leadership skills. Positive attitude. Teamwork. Bilingual English / Spanish. All candidates must pass a drug screen and background investigation. Immediate availability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
