Inside Sales Representative - Cooper Enterprises Wood and Laminated Components Manufacturer

We also offer a line of standard cabinets in our casework catalog, providing shorter lead times and cost-effective solutions.

Position Overview:

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by promoting our wide range of wood and laminated components, assembly services, and commercial casework solutions. You will engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their manufacturing goals. Your ability to build relationships, understand technical requirements, and communicate effectively will be crucial in closing sales and fostering long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities:

- Proactively prospect and qualify leads within the East Coast territory to identify potential customers in need of wood and laminated components, assembly services, and commercial casework solutions.

- Reach out to leads through various channels including phone calls, emails, and networking events to initiate sales conversations and build relationships.

- Understand customer requirements and technical specifications to recommend appropriate products and services, including custom commercial casework meeting AWI standards. Utilizing FSCĀ®-certified materials when requested.

- Collaborate with Product Manager, Estimating/Project Manager ,Engineering, and Production teams to develop custom solutions and proposals that meet customer needs and specifications.

- Introduce our new Garage and closet system product and existing Commercial Casework.

- Build a new customer base within the Multi Family and Track Home Builders space. As well as continuing to develop our customer base within Hospitals, Schools, and other Hospitality industries .

-Promote our standard cabinets and pre-engineered casework solutions, highlighting the benefits of shorter lead times and cost-effectiveness.

- Negotiate terms and close sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

- Provide ongoing support and assistance to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns and facilitating the order process.

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM software.

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and challenges.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in inside sales, experience with commercial contractors or multi family home projects is a plus.

- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate technical specifications and requirements to customers.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers.

- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Travel required for annual trade shows( 1-2 times per year)
