POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors.

Minimum Qualifications:

8. Intellectual ability to handle concepts and complexity comfortably.

9. Working knowledge of technology such as word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.

10. Freedom from illegal use of drugs.

11. Maintains attention to detail, accuracy with numbers and efficiency in completing multiple tasks.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting or business-related field

Preferred Qualifications: CPA or MBA preferred but not required

LANGUAGE SKILLS

English is the primary language of the facility. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent as well as draw and interpret various graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral and/or diagram form. Ability to define and solve problems, interpret data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in statistical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Preparation of annual budgets for multiple entities

· Preparation of workpapers supporting the annual tax returns/1099s

· Coordinate expense reimbursement payments

· Implement a process to record transactions by department and compare costs incurred to budget and performance analysis of profit centers

· Review and recordation of journal entries required to reflect the monthly activity

· Preparation of monthly financial statements and related footnotes to all LLCs

· Preparation of the year to date cash flow

· Preparation of monthly reforecast incorporating historical results and future assumptions

· Supervise the accumulation of permitted reimbursements from clients through the accounts payable process and bill these reimbursements to the clients monthly

· Supervision of all accounts payable processed in corporate office. This includes corporate payables, payables for Title Holding Entities, allocations of costs incurred on behalf of multiple entities

· Review of expenses incurred on behalf of multiple entities such as software costs, accounting services, analytical services, etc.

· Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls

· Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations

· Proper analytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective

· Other duties as assigned

Demonstrates understanding of fire and emergency procedures; participates in fire and disaster drills; demonstrates understanding of safety and security procedures; applies safety and security precautions; demonstrates understanding of hazardous materials plan; demonstrates proper use of equipment.

Infection Control 

Applies hand-washing principles during daily work; demonstrates understanding of isolation precautions; recognizes signs and symptoms of infection and complies with the employee health program; demonstrates understanding of the process for identifying and handling infectious waste; maintains personal

hygiene; complies with OSHA standards in the work place; and demonstrates understanding of cross-contamination.

Information Management Enters or records data timely and accurately; protects confidentiality of patient information; protects data against loss or destruction; reports suspected violation of security/confidentiality issues.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Demonstrates active listening techniques; gains support through effective relationships; treats others with dignity and respect; seeks feedback; establishes systems to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and service; creates and maintains reporting mechanisms.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Attends in-service and education programs; attends continuing education required for maintenance of professional certification or licensure.
