General Objective
The company is searching for a experienced candidate for the Truck Driver position. The Driver main responsibility will be to pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy and deliver them to customers as instructed. Responsible for basic company truck maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
Truck Driver Responsibilities.
- Drive and operate trucks.
- Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
- Pre-inspect truck.
- Drive local routes that get you home most days.
- Responsible for maintaining safety awareness.
- Perform daily truck log input data.
- Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge
- Valid truck driver license.(26" truck)
- Able to pass drug tests
- Clean driving record
- No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Dependability
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
