Performs responsible duties in providing professional psychological services for children and adults including psychological testing and interpretation, diagnostic assessments, therapy, and crisis intervention. Supervises doctoral-level psychology interns who provide direct client service under the direct supervision and licensure of the psychologists. Employee is responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals and provides direct treatment services to individuals and groups. Consults with other personnel, other professionals, and agencies regarding mental health services. The majority of the work is direct client service. The focus is psychological assessment. Work is performed in an office setting.Performs various psychological evaluations -forensic, cognitive, personality, adaptive functioning, etc.Selection for this position will be based on a minimum qualifications screening and rating of training and experience. Top candidates will be forwarded to the hiring manager or supervisor for consideration for interview and/or additional assessments. Final selection will include a background check and approval by the County Board.
