Sonwil Transportation Non-Driver is Hiring an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist Near Seneca, NY
Sonwil is hiring an Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities for Sonwil’s account receivable and payable functions. This role will perform general accounting tasks and support the back-office operations in accordance with internal accounting policies.

- Manage accounts payable by ensuring vendor invoices are recorded, tracked, approved, and paid properly
- Review and verify expense reports
- Prepare and reconcile cash receipts and deposits
- Analyze transaction information to identify refunds, delinquent accounts, and insufficient payments
- Prepare accounts receivable reports and resolve issues with delinquent accounts through contacting and working with the customer and internal stake holders.
- Maintain vendor and customer files in the accounting databases

- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree in business, accounting or finance preferred
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Must be able to work in an office setting.
