Position Summary
A Warehouse Clerk receives, stores and distributes products purchased by our customers; ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. As a member of a team, this person should be committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions

1. Must be able to regularly life and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 100 pounds or more.

2. Receive incoming deliveries, ensuring that paperwork is complete.

3. Safely drive a forklift (training provided) to place items received onto appropriate and organized shelving throughout the warehouse.

4. Have the ability to read incoming paperwork and customer orders to ensure all is complete before loading vehicles for delivery.

5. Safely drive a forklift and/or dolly to load customer orders in vehicles in an orderly, logical sequence in order to maximize delivery time.

6. Become familiar with typical routing of deliveries. Take steps to ensure deliveries are made on time by having the ability to read a map, utilize GPS and think logically about locations.

7. Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.

8. Have the ability to learn products and items for sale by the company.

9. Assist in counting of physical inventory.

10. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.

11. Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

12. Wear the proper safety equipment and observe safety precautions.

Competencies: Communication Proficiency, Organizational Skills, Mathematical Skills, Technical Capacity, Thoroughness, Time Management; Must be able to drive a vehicle with a standard transmission.
