Position Summary:
Under limited supervision, administers the Nation's 401(k) Retirement Plan and assists with the administration of the Nation's Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS). Recommends modifications and updates to 401(k) Plan in accordance with the needs of the Nation and ensures applicable federal laws and guidelines are adhered to; oversees 401(k) Plan service providers and participates in the selection process for new providers. Meets with the plan's Trustees regularly or as needed.
The work is normally reviewed upon completion, with occasional spot checks while in process, to ensure accuracy, timeliness and conformance to established standards; major work tasks are addressed by instructions or procedures and unusual situations are referred to a supervisor.
