Confidential is Hiring a Quality Assurance Manager Near Seguin, TX

OVERVIEW

We are searching for a Quality Assurance Manager to work closely with other departments to ensure continuity in production, efficiency, quality, and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, AS9100, and regulatory/legal requirements
  • Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems
  • Report to leadership on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement
  • Conduct periodic management review meetings
  • Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products. Develop plans to improve and execute efficiently
  • Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product quality
  • Ownership of the CAPA system and Document Control to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Lead all quality audit processes; internal, customer, vendor and standards accreditation bodies
  • Manage customer and third party inspection visits for first article and source inspections
  • Provide technical and statistical expertise using quality software to teams to continuously develop RCA competency
  • Meet quality objectives/goals
  • Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within company
  • Work with Operations to reduce internal scrap and customer returns
  • Assess new product and process effectiveness
  • PPAP documentation development and processing
  • Develop strong Relationships with customers to resolve issues with effective communication

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Show a strong knowledge of the AS9100 Quality System use and requirements along with Production Part Approval Processes and Validations with demonstrated skill in the use of the quality software
  • Proficiency in business management systems including Microsoft Office, database management, data acquisition, and system interfaces
  • Demonstrate an ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills, and provide strong leadership in a production environment
  • Show excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Multiple years of experience in quality management preferred
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality related field preferred
