Job DescriptionDirect Hire-On Site- Controller
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable procedures.
- Streamline and maintain the company's bookkeeping protocols.
- Monitor financial budgets and expenditure tracking, generating reports as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and policies.
- Reconcile statements related to landfill operations.
- Undertake general administrative duties including filing, data entry, phone correspondence, and mail processing.
- Prepare financial reports when required.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of financial information.
- Execute transactions, issue payments, and update financial records.
- Support audit processes, conduct fact-checking, and resolve discrepancies.
- Hold an Associate’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Possess a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficient in computer operations and skilled in bookkeeping software, including MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and QuickBooks.
- Knowledgeable about fundamental accounting principles.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and both verbal and written communication abilities.
- Uphold professional standards and adhere to ethical codes.
- Display adeptness in multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities.
