Cameron-Daniel, PC is Hiring a Transactional Associate Attorney (Energy and Public Agency Law) Near Sebastopol, CA
Overview:
We are a law practice that primarily focuses on water and electricity issues in the Western United States. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team and assist with energy transactions, administrative/regulatory proceedings, and public agency issues. Experience with energy contract forms (EEI, WSSP), PPAs, and California public agency law preferred.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Draft legal documents, including contracts and regulatory filings
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Handle administrative tasks related to legal matters
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California bar
- Experience in legal research and writing
- Proficiency in legal drafting and administrative tasks
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent research abilities
