Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CivilEngineering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provideessential technical support to our engineers and project managers in theplanning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects. Fromdrafting to field inspections, the Civil Engineering Technician will play acrucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time andwithin budget.

Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers and project managers in the preparation ofengineering drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software (e.g.,AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Conduct field surveys and gather relevant data to supportdesign and construction activities.
• Perform calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimatesfor materials and labor.
• Assist in the analysis of survey data, soil reports, andother technical documents to inform project design and decision-making.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and regulatoryagencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor constructionprogress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address any issuesor discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings,reports, and correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation of project status reports,presentations, and client communications.

• Associate's degree or technical certificate in CivilEngineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a civilengineering technician or related role.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software,particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, constructionmethods, and materials.
