Job Description:

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be providing care to childbearing women and their newborns across the continuum from antepartum to postpartum. This role involves working in an extremely high-risk, Level 3 Perinatal center where 70% of patients are complex and high-risk. You will be part of a dedicated team that manages approximately 150 births per month, and will collaborate closely with the Level 4 NICU regional center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases.
  • Manage high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries.
  • Assist in surgeries including C-sections, BTLs, and postpartum D&Cs.
  • Act as a second L&D RN or "baby catcher" for well, non-compromised infants.
  • Provide outpatient services when the clinic is closed.
  • Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
