Title: CAD Designer – Telecom

Location: Seattle, WA (Remote to start then on-site)

Will need to travel: Western Washington, Alaska & Oregon

Employment type: This is contract to hire after 6 months.

Our clientis seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD Design Technician to join their growing team! This position offers a unique blend of field work, design, and AutoCAD experience, with the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our projects throughout Washington State.

About the Role:

· Conduct site visits (40%) to gather data, take measurements, and determine land use (commercial, residential, farmland, etc.)

· Utilize AutoCAD to design and draft construction plans based on field measurements (60%)

· Assist with minor design tasks as needed.

· Travel throughout Washington State (20%) - with weekends off, even when traveling in Alaska.

You are a perfect fit if you:

· Possess 2-5 years of experience in a related field, such as architectural engineering or surveying. We welcome recent graduates with relevant internships.

· Have a strong understanding of construction principles and design concepts.

· Are proficient in AutoCAD software.

· Enjoy a blend of fieldwork and office design work.

· Thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

· Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Hold a valid driver's license.

A plus if you:

· Have experience with NSB (New Site Build).

· While telecom experience is preferred, a strong surveying background can be considered.
