Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by ensuring all Nikkiso Cosmodyne safe work procedures are followed and implementing the Nikkiso Cosmodyne’s Basic Safety Process
• Understand industrial safe work processes and standards in the ASU, hydrocarbon, and petrochemical environment
• Supervise customer representatives and contractors on accurate equipment commissioning, change-outs, overhauls and start-up of various rotating equipment
• Travel to customer sites working independently as a representative of the Nikkiso Cosmodyne group
• Troubleshoot and solve problems by identifying, defining, analyzing, and then making sound, timely decisions working with engineering.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills; maintain free and open communication.
• Understand and demonstrate knowledge in reading prints, flows sheets and product designs; provide liaison between the field and engineering and project managers to resolve technical problems as necessary
• Ensure trip reports are generated at the completion of all trips detailing scope of all work performed
• Manage and ensure expense reports are complete and accurate monthly.
• Willing to travel up to 6 months/year.
• Willing to travel Domestic and Foreign sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical or Associate's Degree is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• 2 - 5 years of experience is highly desirable in the following fields (recent graduates or soon to graduate applicants will also be considered):
• Air separation, oil refining, or similar complex process control operations
• Instrumentation and control
• General maintenance of industrial equipment
• Compressors and compressor maintenance
• Turboexpander and compressor installation and maintenance
• Industrial mechanical maintenance
• Industrial electrical or electrician
• Industrial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC)
• Military technical fields
• Machinist Mates, Electrician Mates, Nuclear Technician, Gas Turbine Technicians, Boiler Technicians, Cryogenic Technicians.
• Ability to read P&ID, Electrical Drawings and design specifications, manufacturer drawings, architectural drawings related to bulk delivery sites associated with customer installations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to set goals and manage time to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and achievement of goals are accomplished and manage and execute multiple tasks or priorities as necessary

Salary: $72,000 to $100,000
