- Prepare and apply paint to repaired vehicles
- Mix proper paint color using our computerized PPG mixing system
- Duties may include final sanding, masking, color mixing and tinting, spray booth operations, operate prep stations, applying primers, sealers, color and clear coats.
- Inspect painted vehicles before final inspection by Body Shop Manager
- Communicate status of repairs clearly to Body Shop Manager
- Document all materials used
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Follow factory and dealership procedures when performing warranty work
- Understand and follow Federal, State, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste
- 2 years of automotive painting experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Clean and valid driver’s license
