Northeast Title & Tag: Staff Accountant
Are you a detail-oriented, highly motivated accounting professional? Join our team as a Staff Accountant and work closely with our Accounting Manager and CFO to support our financial operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses in line with GAAP.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Compile and analyze financial data to support decision-making.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus).
- Experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
