GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

• The dietitian will conduct individualized, confidential, educational and evaluation consultations with students upon request by the student or by referral.
• The dietician will maintain a record for every individual who is evaluated or treated. All records will be stored via the Student Health Electronic Health Record (EHR) and will remain property of Marywood University.
• The dietitian will collaborate with Student Health Services to coordinate treatment plans for individual students.
• The dietitian will assist the Director of Student Health Services with the coordination of outreach related to nutritional programing on campus.
• The dietician will facilitate programming for the benefit of the students. This may include working with groups on campus, such as Athletics, Counseling and Student Development, Student Engagement, etc.
• Programming will be required at a minimum of 3 times/per academic semester
• The dietitian will refer students to appropriate resource persons (i.e., clinicians, physicians in student home communities, etc.) as requested or necessary.

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Dietician in the State of Pennsylvania

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Dietician preferred.
• College Health experience preferred.

• Must maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Good communication skills (written and oral)
• Must be able to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and families.
• Creating a warm, welcoming environment for the student population

SCHEDULE:

• Seasonal, 10 hours/week, 30 weeks/year
