- The Insurance Specialist performs support tasks directly related to claims processing. This includes handling exception items, uploading information into claim files, and fulfilling requests. Most tasks are done independently on the computer, may assist with team tasks such as physical mail processing and office duties as needed.
- The specialist understands the end-to-end process and is able to recommend process improvements to management. This position reports directly to the site manager. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing and processing claims exceptions within customer proprietary systems including designated queues and email boxes Correspond via email with internal and external customers to resolve claims exceptions Process and copy physical evidence.
- Prepare documents for scanning including opening and categorizing Scan mail via a Windows-based application Initiate requests for additional documents to complete policy copy requests.
- Tracking of productivity daily Perform various check processing tasks including verification, tracking and deposit Perform other duties as assigned Report to 1299 Zurich Way, Schaumburg, IL 60196 parking is free and in a garage which is great with bad weather
