Network Distribution is Hiring a Collections Analyst Near Schaumburg, IL

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Independently prioritize and execute daily collection activities; contact customers for payment via telephone and email, document and maintain timely collection notes in HRC collection tool and establish appropriate follow-up
  • Responsible for developing relationships to facilitate the collections of accounts receivable and resolving internal/external issues preventing timely payment.
  • Maintain or improve departmental and organization key performance indicators including; Days Sales Outstanding, Past Due and Current Percentage, Average Days Delinquent and Collection Effectiveness Index.
  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve current and mitigate future, invoice disputes, billing issues, and deductions.
  • Work with internal and external parties on finding new ways to decrease the volume of billing issues that result in payment delays
  • Escalate potential problems with customer’s cash flow, works to minimize risk, resolve credit problems, and late payment issues.
  • Analyzes and determines best practices to achieve maximum results, often dependent on individual customer needs.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, 
    • SAP, High Radius, Salesforce, Monday.com recommended
  • 1 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred. 
  • Distribution experience a plus
