DIRTT Environmental Solutions is seeking a Saw Operator to join us at our Savannah factory. Are you ready to begin the journey to fulfill your potential?

What You’ll Do:
- Set-up and operate production saws and Manual Drill Presses to optimize the material cutting process
- Conduct measurements and mathematical calculations using a fractional tape measure to ensure cut quality and accuracy
- Cut and prepare test samples per process specifications
- Practice excellent general housekeeping, including but not limited to, work area, floor areas, benches and storage areas to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintain equipment in a safe and productive condition, including but not limited to, regular routine lubrication, cleaning and maintaining coolant levels
What You Bring to DIRTT:
- High school diploma preferred and/or two years’ experience working in a similar position
- Previous experience collecting, loading and cutting materials according to work orders
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints
- Previous saw operating experience is considered an asset
- Previous experience working with steel would be an asset
- Highly detail-oriented with great organizational and time-management skills. Conducting frequent quality checks is a must
- A strong track-record for being accountable and timely while understanding the importance of maintaining a safe work environment
- Familiarity with material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) and the safe handling of large objects or materials
- Demonstrated strong organizational, planning, coordination and priority setting skills
- Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
