Job Title: DSP/IHS- In Home Support Caregiver
*Valid Driver's License and reliable personal car NEEDED
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor progress
- Promote independence and community integration for individuals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
Skills:
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Strong drive to make a positive impact in the lives of others
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
- Understanding of resident rights and promoting a person-centered approach to care
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Experience in medication administration is a plus
