Job Description:
The Inn at Saratoga is looking for a friendly, food and beverage professional to join our team to manage the execution of our private events as well as the operation of our small, hotel bar and restaurant.
The Food and Beverage Manager will work closely with our Director of Operations and Sales to ensure the seamless execution of events to include but not limited to: Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Showers, Reunions, Birthday Parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s and Corporate Meetings. The Food and Beverage Manager is also responsible for managing the operations of the Bar and Restaurant, which includes working with our head bartender to design drink menus, ordering and maintaining bar stock, staffing and scheduling, as well as working with our team to create and carry out restaurant promotions. In addition to the hourly rate, this position also earns a commission on the private events that they manage and are present for.
Evenings and weekends are a must for this position, our bar and restaurant is open from 5-9pm, and most private events take place on the weekends, although there are some day time events thrown in, a majority are in the evenings.
This position is perfect for someone who has worked in the front of the house in restaurants for a while, has a solid foundational knowledge of food and beverage operations, and is looking for something new and exciting!
