Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hotel management or 4 years of hotel front desk experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver's license and adhere to all company guidelines regarding moving violations
- Use computers and computer systems i.e Microsoft Office
- Experience with Opera property management (strongly desired)
- Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally=
- Able to stand and/or walk for duration of schedule shift
Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Front Desk Manager will be to ensure that guests have an excellent experience in the hotel, including check-in and check-out, any time a guest needs assistance, and any time guests are supported by a member of the Front Office team. Carry out the smooth operation of the Front Office Department and ensure that all standards and operating procedures pertinent to Guest Services are followed.
In addition, manage the front desk in a respectful and professional manner to ensure employee retention and positive moral. The front desk staff is your team and is the most integral part of your success.
