Job Title: Registered Nurse PCUJob Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medication, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Monitor and assess patient conditions in the PCU.2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans.4. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatments.5. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.6. Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.7. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.8. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.Qualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.2. 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a PCU or critical care unit.3. BLS and ACLS certification required.4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.6. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.7. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.8.
