As a Dishwasher at CordeValle, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our dining outlets and banquet services. Your responsibilities will include setting up wares, washing soiled dishes, assisting in food service, and maintaining cleanliness in various kitchen areas. You'll work closely with the kitchen team to uphold our standards of excellence in service and cleanliness.

**Responsibilities:**- Maintain thorough knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.- Ensure daily maintenance of superior cleanliness standards.- Familiarize yourself with the correct maintenance and use of equipment, using it only as intended.- Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs, maintaining positive guest relations at all times.- Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.- Use designated cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations.- Set up and organize work station with supplies and equipment, replenishing as needed.- Check and maintain dishwashing machine according to specifications.- Handle and position wares correctly in dishwashing machine.- Inspect washed wares for cleanliness and condition, re-washing as necessary.- Sort, stack, and store cleaned wares in designated areas.- Handle wares carefully to prevent breakage and loss.- Monitor usage of dishwashing machine and chemicals for efficiency.- Clean and maintain garbage disposal, compactor, and other equipment.- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.- Stock kitchen lines with cleaned wares, utensils, and equipment.- Clean spills and various floor surfaces using designated chemicals and equipment.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply/storage closets.- Transport garbage containers to Dumpster, adhering to recycling regulations.- Fill and operate burnishing machine as directed.- Assist with setup of wares and equipment for Banquet functions.- Prepare and transport food items to Banquet service areas.- Assist Banquet Chef with plating up meals.- Organize breakdown area for soiled wares and assist in dishwashing tasks.- Perform any other duties as required.
