We are in search of an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Hayward, California. Responsibilities· Responsible for general ledger (GL) maintenance and all GL accounts reconciliation.· Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports.· Manages accounting operations of the firm including budgeting, auditing, payroll, AP, AR, general ledger and financial reporting. Oversees development and implementation of financial systems.· Coordinates and preparers for annual and other audits.· Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.· Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.· Ensure tracking of Fixed Assets· Provides status of financial condition by collecting and reporting financial data.· Prepares and develops budgets in accordance with contracts and analyzes data with recommendations.· Conducts analytical review of financial information on a monthly basis and recommends initiates corrective actions in order to achieve budget objectives.· Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing and coordinating information to external auditors.· Complies with all financial federal, state and local legal requirements, including contract requirements. Advises management on needed actions.· Other duties as assigned.
