Come build with us! Role and Responsibilities Work as part of a GPU IP team and be responsible for developing world-class GPU based upon Samsung GPU architecture. Review architecture specifications utilizing his advanced knowledge of CPU and GPU design. Identify design features for verification and functional coverage within verification tools such as System Verilog, UVM, and Verdi, among others. Develop verification/test plans and functional coverage plans with cross functional teams within the company. Work with RTL to create verification reference models and constrained random stimulus generators. Develop and maintain System Verilog/UVM test benches. Drive to coverage and verification closure, and manage tasks and deliverables to meet milestones. Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 36 months of experience in the Job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and 60 months of experience in the Job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 36 months of experience involving the following: 1. ASIC/SoC design/development at sub-system or chip level; 2. Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL; 3. Writing assertions/checkers in Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL; 4. UVM/OVM/VMM; 5. Test bench development; 6. Test/verification plan creation; 7. Synopsis VCS or equivalent verification tool; 8. RTL quality analysis; 9. Verification of unit-level blocks or full chip; 10. Code coverage analysis/closure; 11. Writing Perl scripts to automate feature testing and debugging; 12. Functional verification of microprocessor hardware systems; 13. Monitoring and debugging test failures; and 14. Defect monitoring, characterization, and root cause analysis. At Samsung - SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $225,328 and $245,328. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
