HIRING RANGE $126,000 - $157,500 annually

Position Overview
Note: Search for this role is being managed by ZRG.
The Enterprise Architect professional will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the organization's cloud-based software applications and overall technology architecture, specifically SAP. They will serve as a critical bridge between the IT team, application owners, and end-users to optimize performance, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
The role will act as a subject matter expert, will develop a deep understanding of the applications, the business needs and objectives, and will work with 3rd party technology partners to optimize the use and adoption of these applications across the organization. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the organization's cloud platforms, mainly SAP solutions and other applications; Maintain thorough documentation on the overall technology landscape and interdependencies.
  • Ensure and oversee integration points between various cloud applications and systems. Ensure seamless integration; Collaborate with users and vendor(s) to identify and resolve any integration-related issues.
  • Implement best practices for secure and efficient data exchange across the application ecosystem
  • Ensure cloud applications and supporting infrastructure adhere to the organization's IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor compliance and identify potential areas of risk or non-compliance. Coordinate with the rest of the IT team and other stakeholders to implement necessary controls and remediation measures.
  • Own incident management and resolution for enterprise cloud application-related issues, in close collaboration with internal users and external technology partners. Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams and oversee the troubleshooting process.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud application users, providing guidance, develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and self-help resources. Collaborate with the training and change management teams to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Implement optimization strategies to enhance overall system performance. Recommend and oversee the implementation of infrastructure and application enhancements.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new cloud-based applications and services.
  • Contribute to the organization's technology roadmap and strategic planning for cloud initiatives.
  • Work with cross functional teams to understand business objectives and challenges, recommend technology solutions, new or existing as needed. 
  • Develops and maintains relationships with vendor partners.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 years of progressively responsible experience, which includes 5 years’ experience in in cloud application management, architecture, or IT operations , including at least 2 years of Enterprise Applications experience including System Analysis, Design, Procurement, Testing, Implementation, Documentation, Vendor Management, and License Management
  • Experience in process design, requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, testing, deployment, installation, and operational management
  • Experience with architecting, deploying cloud-enabled solutions, and enterprise application integration and frameworks
  • Experience working with SAP and other enterprise-level applications is preferred.
  • Certifications in cloud computing, IT service management, or architecture are a plus
  • Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communicator that is comfortable sharing ideas across functions, to various levels of the organization, and with partners and vendors.
  • A forward looking individual who proactively seeks new knowledge and skills; who looks for opportunities to improve the organization and experience of team members.
  • Proactive, with a positive and winning approach, and strong decision-making skills.
  • Able to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks.
  • Flexible to work a varied schedule when needed, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours. 
  • Ability to travel between SAP Center and other entities such as but not limited to: Sharks Ice San Jose, Sharks Ice Fremont and Oakland Ice Center.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
  • Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation
  • Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice)
  • May be required to travel to other company locations
  • May be required to attend conference, events, and training sessions within Bay Area or in- or out-of-state locations.
