Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our team at Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital. Our current groomer of 9 years is relocating to a different city. If you have a passion for working with animals and possess grooming skills, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.

Duties:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures
- Provide nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other basic grooming services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Monitor pets for health issues and report any concerns to pet owners or veterinarians

Qualifications:

- Experience in animal care, pet grooming, or related fields
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets
- Familiarity with various breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician or completion of a Pet Grooming program is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with pet owners

Pay: $180.00 - $244.00 per day
