We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dermatology Assistant to join our team. As a Dermatology Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting dermatologists in providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
- Assist dermatologists with various procedures and treatments
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and well-stocked
- Take patient medical history and document relevant information
- Perform basic medical tasks such as measuring vital signs and administering medications
- Provide patient education on skincare routines and post-treatment care
- Assist with coding and billing processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dermatology Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge
- Familiarity with dermatology procedures, treatments, and medications
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required
- Experience with X-ray imaging is a plus

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
