The Role

Advanced Process Solutions (APS) is an organization passionate about process automation tools and technologies for Fidelity’s critical business processes and driving significant improvements in those processes. We work with many teams internally within the Fidelity Enterprise to ensure that systems are working properly and can meet scale expectations.

We are looking for a Performance Testing Engineer create and maintain infrastructure responsible for validating APS components & systems at scale. The engineer work with delivery teams to ensure that the right suite of tests are developed either by those teams or personally. You will also be responsible for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of customer environments.

The Expertise You Have

• Bachelors’ Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of performance testing, systems administration, and AWS experience

The Skills You Bring

• Performance Testing: LoadRunner, JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, HP UFT, Selenium, K6, Playwright, & JavaScript required.
• Linux systems administration experience required.
• Deep understanding of application performance testing experience with REST & Web services required.
• Languages: Java, SQL, node.js, scripting (bash/ksh) required.
• Working knowledge of application server technologies: Tomcat, Apache, & IBM WebSphere preferred
• Experience with monitoring tools like: Datadog, Sumologic, Grafana, Kibana preferred
• Deep understanding and ability to troubleshoot memory leaks within JVM
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Strong problem resolution skills required.
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment required.
• AWS cloud experience with certifications.

• Develop, design, implement, and support application/web servers running WebSphere, TcServer, and Apache.
• Develop, design, implement, and support applications running within the AWS cloud.
• System Administration in Linux and AWS environments.
• Develop monitoring and management tools and processes.
• Accurately estimate work requirements and create detailed plans.
• Document processes and standard methodologies.
• Communicate efficiently in team environment.
• Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide 24x7 support.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
