Job Description:

The Role:

Are you looking for a role that helps drive engagement and educates clients as they plan for and envision their retirement? Do you want to be part of a team that is delivering innovative, interactive digital educational product content?

As the Senior Client Communications Manager (or Client Communications Director depending on experience), you will be an essential part of the FILI Client Engagement team responsible for supporting digital client content across multiple touchpoints for annuities and life insurance products. You will work closely with the other team members to help drive customers into the top of the funnel and expand FILI’s reach by providing innovative educational content. You will accomplish this by:

  • Developing and presenting go-to-market strategies and learning agendas for assigned products
  • Utilizing data and research to inform strategic recommendations and opportunities including marketing briefs
  • Maintaining consistent product messaging throughout all platforms that is jargon-free, concise, and demonstrates product value/benefits
  • Collaborating and partnering with appropriate teams across Wealth (i.e., Marketing, Publishing/UXD, Product, Distribution, Actuary) to understand potential content needs and updates
  • Leading internal business partner reviews including compliance, agency, publishing & myFIT
  • Articulating status of projects, including metrics, to key stakeholders

The Expertise & Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of five years in digital marketing and/or marketing communications role
  • Knowledge of B2C digital marketing touchpoints including SEO, email, social media, video, and web
  • Experience using data to drive engaging client content
  • Self-directed and capable of managing multiple projects with varied complexities simultaneously
  • Ability to successfully collaborate and build trust with key partners
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Adobe, eReview, Workfront, and Jira, a plus
  • Basic understanding of annuities/insurance products and agile, a plus

As part of the FILI Client Engagement team, this role plays a pivotal role in supporting the Wealth/FILI goals: drive core business, big plays, and opportunistic investing. Your work will support FILI’s overall strategy by helping deliver highly effective digital content for our clients. We strive to provide educational client content that will help drive meaningful planning conversations through test and learn opportunities. In summary, we are looking for an individual who will own the outcome of their work from start to finish, collaborate with multiple groups, and help identify opportunities to bring our digital client content to the next level.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
