Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee our childcare center. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and have a strong background in education administration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with state regulations and promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children
- Supervise and support teaching staff to ensure high-quality care and education for all children
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the childcare center, including budgeting, enrollment, and parent communication
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and community partners to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and maintain a safe and clean facility
Skills:
- Higher education teaching experience in early childhood education or related field
- Ability to educate and mentor staff on best practices in child development
- Strong background in education administration, including program development and evaluation
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
