JAC Products is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Saline, MI
Y our Contributions:
- Responsible for maintaining, setting up, and operating production equipment including the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment failures.
- Ability to fabricate using MIG welder, TIG welder, vertical/horizontal band saws, bridge port mill and lathe
- Updating and completing preventative and non-preventative work orders.
- Perform fabrication of parts/equipment.
- Respond to service calls to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machine problems and determine proper corrective action.
- Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) - knowledge of Allen Bradley preferred
- Maintain parts inventory for common replaceable items and daily recordkeeping within JAC Products computer maintenance management software (CMMS)
- Minimum of 2 (two) years of working experience in industrial repair or maintenance
- Basic understanding of machine and equipment PLCs
- Ability to use various types of tools including volt-meter and equipment necessary (manual, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic)
- Effective communication and problem solving skills
