Description:

Will work on a team of LPNs and responsible for the following;

Receiving patients from the waiting room

Rooming patients

Taking vitals

Verifying medications

Discussing symptoms and reasons for visit

Completing and updating medical charts

Calling patients for medication reminders, appointment reminders, rescheduling appointments

In the children's role, the nurse will do a brief triage. The other primary function of the children's clinic nurse is to answer client phone calls and address concerns, mostly conversing with parents/guardians.

Start Class , May 21st, June 4th, June 11th, June 18th and June 25th (all Tuesday starts) they have to be fully cleared and certified to start. They have a large influxes of students so the quicker we notify them our people clear, the more likely we will get a spot in one of their classes. Their classes only hold 12 people and they have a ton coming in but people constantly get pushed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Backgrounds that work -

experience with the VA and veterans

experience with nursing homes

Must have a patient-focused mindset

prior experience with behavioral/mental health and pediatrics
