Summary/Objective
We are looking for a result driven retail Store Manager to be responsible for the overall store management. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in dairy, agriculture, sales and/or retail management.

Essential Functions

• Execute business strategies to increase store traffic, increase sales and optimize profitability.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff.
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service.
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.)
• Additional store manager duties as needed.

Required Education and Experience

• Proven successful experience as a retail Store Manager or Sales Rep
• Powerful leading skills and business orientation

• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Farm background or 2-year degree in an Animal Science program

Supervisory Responsibility

Directly supervises employees in the retail store. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will regularly be asked to lift products up to 50lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The store manager will be required to be available during the store’s hours of operation, which include Monday through Saturday.

Travel
May occasionally be asked to travel to the Corporate office located in Massillon Ohio.
