Job Description
As a Ruck Driver, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering construction materials to job sites within your designated area. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring construction projects run smoothly and efficiently by delivering materials promptly and securely.
Responsibilities
- Accept delivery requests via the Ruck Delivery app or SMS.
- Pick up construction materials from local stores such as Home Depot, Lowes, Builders FirstSource, and other specified suppliers.
- Deliver materials to construction sites and vendor locations within the specified time frame (2-3 hours, same-day, or scheduled).
- Ensure safe and secure transportation of materials, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate with customers and support team for any issues or delays.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle capable of transporting construction materials (e.g., truck, van).
- Smartphone with internet access to use the Ruck Delivery app.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus, but not required.
