Residence Inn by Marriott in Saginaw is looking for a high energy customer service focused individual to join the team. Applicants should have a terrific smile and strong work ethic. Additionally, this individual should have open availability for scheduling purposes and be able to complete the following to be qualified.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries and concerns
- Handle guest requests, such as room changes, additional amenities, or special accommodations
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with reservations and manage the hotel's booking system
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry or front desk role preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software for reservations and guest management
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
