**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly children, who require behavioral support and intervention. This role involves implementing behavior management strategies and assisting in behavioral therapy sessions. **Duties:** - Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals in achieving behavioral goals. - Assist in the implementation of behavioral therapy plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). - Work directly with individuals to teach and reinforce positive behaviors. - Document and analyze data related to individual behavior and progress. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special education professionals, therapists, and caregivers. - Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. **Skills:** - Experience working with children or individuals with special needs. - Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality. - Ability to work with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disabilities. - Strong interpersonal skills for working with individuals, families, and caregivers. - Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
