**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, provide excellent patient care, and maintain dental equipment.

**Duties:**

- Prepare patients for dental work by taking their vital signs and reviewing their medical history

- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Take and develop dental x-rays, as well as perform medical imaging when necessary

- Ensure proper patient records are maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Educate patients on proper oral healthcare

- Perform various office tasks as needed

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience working in a dental office or clinic

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to dentistry

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with dentures is a plus
