National Indoor RV Centers | NIRVC is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician Near Surprise, AZ
As a Maintenance Technician you will:
- Manage the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the facility.
- Oversee preventive maintenance for all equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Respond promptly to all service requests and ensure that repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential issues and recommend corrective action.
- Oversee the work of outside contractors and vendors who perform maintenance and repair work in the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, invoices, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and that the facilities are safe for guests and employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least five years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- This is a customer facing role which requires a professional image and delivery of exceptional customer service skills.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- The job may require working weekends and holidays to accommodate customer needs.
- Maintenance Engineers typically work in an indoor environment but may also spend time outdoors inspecting the facility.
- They may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure that maintenance and repair activities are completed promptly and efficiently.
- Engineers may also be required to lift heavy equipment and perform physical labor. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Protective gear, such as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves, may be required when working with hazardous materials or in potentially dangerous situations.
- Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness
- The work environment can be noisy and dusty.
