Job Title: Part-Time Media and Communications Specialist
Location:CalvaryChurch Stockton
Position Type: Part-time
Hours: 10-15 hours per week
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
About Us: Calvary Church is a dynamic and welcoming community dedicated to spiritual growth and engagement. We are looking for a talented Media and Communications Specialist to join our team and enhance our digital and communication efforts.
Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Media and Communications Specialist to support our weekly worship services and keep our community informed and engaged. This role is essential in ensuring that our message reaches our congregation effectively through various digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
Create slides for the weekly worship experience using ProPresenter software.
Maintain and update the church websites using CMS and Wix platforms, including new page creation.
Create and upload the weekly podcast of Sunday services.
Manage and update social media accounts to keep the Calvary family and friends informed of important services and events.
Develop and execute email campaigns and mass text communications.
Assist church staff and the board with additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in ProPresenter software for slide creation.
Experience with CMS and Wix for website maintenance and updates.
Strong skills in social media management and digital marketing.
Ability to create engaging content for podcasts, emails, and social media.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Requirements:
Local inquiries only.
Ability to commit to 10-15 hours per week.
Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks as needed.
