| Primary Purpose | The Lab Coordinator is responsible for supervision of laboratories, and autonomy over laboratory resources and equipment. They are responsible for teaching 4 in-person laboratory sections in Human Physiology and/or Microbiology for biology majors, training graduate student teaching assistants to independently oversee laboratory sections, maintaining grades for large laboratory classes (6-8 lab sections), and developing changes in curriculum. |

Moderate periods of sitting and infrequent periods of bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling. Use of computers with repetitive use of hands and wrists. Exposure to chemical and hazardous waste typical in biological lab. May be requested to lift up to twenty-five (25)lbs. Work Environment/Work Week/Travel: Schedule is dependent on department need. Typically, eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week. Must be able to work a late shift until 8pm on at least three (3) weeknights. |
| Hiring Range | $66,560.00 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
